How do I recover a Red Hat Linux lost partition on Windows 98SE?

linux recover

I had 5 partitions in my system. First construction has Windows 98SE and the terminal was 7GB. While instalment Redhat Linux, I prefabricated 3 partitions for UNIX discover of the terminal 7GB and I ease had 2GB left. Windows was healthy to notice 2GB construction as 5th parition. Everything was OK.

Everything was OK dirt I definite to better 3 UNIX paritions. While recovery, I utilised a liberated unstoppered maker agency and prefabricated ext3 paritions as FAT identify and wrote enter grouping table. This instance Windows showed up every 3 recovered paritions. When I clicked on digit partition, It showed me 255GB!

Now I again did whatever changes to enter grouping table, I recovered 2.5GB parition utilised for Red Hat Linux. But this instance my windows parition was lost!

Now I am not healthy to wager 2 paritions that were utilised for Red Hat UNIX (1 2.5GB is seen), and the terminal 2GB windows parition is not seen.

WHat is the difficulty here? How do I better every paritions? Can whatever digit wage me with liberated tools and warning configurations to be finished for the tool?

You appear to have corrupted your partition table.

You have been doing some very fiddly things with a fragile thing and it looks like your luck ran out.

I’d seriously suggest making the relevant backups and then formatting the drive and start a fresh installation of all OSs on nice newly defined partitions.

Alternatively I think you need to get paid help.

You have played with fragile OS. Get partitionmagic software.
Check if you can use it appropriately. Don’t play with partitions again in such a way.
